Connecting with a disappearing B2B audience
“Oh wow, this looks interesting, just pop this DM on Dave’s desk would you?”
*imagine the sound of the instantly recognisable Family Fortune’s buzzer – you know the one, where the contestant says something stupid.
Because of Covid hardly anyone is sat at their workplace desk anymore – your customers and potential customers included. So how do you get your message across to them? You get creative with webinars of course!
HOLD ON – don’t stop reading! We know the thought of hosting a webinar, if you’ve not done it before, can seem like an impossibility. But that’s where we come in. We can design and host it for you making it painless; we’ll support you with its format, its content, and the technology.
The rise of the webinar
What I’m not going to do is talk about how coronavirus has disrupted our usual marketing strategies and initiatives – I think we all know the negative impact it has had by dispersing audiences away from their usual environments.
Instead, I’m going to focus on the positives and what marketers should be focussing their energy on for 2021.
My predication is that webinars will become an incredibly popular, and effective, marketing medium. When expertly executed, an informative webinar will engage and drive leads. It can position you as a thought leader and strengthen your brand.
Let’s not beat around the bush. Dull webinars are pants! The way they make me feel reminds me of when I was in infant school, sat on the sports hall’s dusty floor, pretending to look interested when a teacher made us watch a documentary on how to be polite (or something in that vein), but really my mind was already wandering and thinking about watching cartoons as soon as I got home. The only sensation that was heightened was the feeling of sodding cramp from sitting cross-legged for an hour.
There are lots of things you can do to spice up a webinar; you can make it interactive, incorporate really eye-catching graphics, maybe even have some gamification elements to it to really capture your audience’s attention. Just don’t talk flatly into the camera and use PowerPoint slides as the only form of stimulus.
Tickling the senses
Well, all except smell that is – we’re not quite there with the whole ‘smellevision’ thing. Oh, and touch, we can’t do that either. But we can design your webinar to be visually entertaining, audibly captivating, and emotionally stimulating.
Our design and host service
Webinars should be treated the same as all your other marketing collateral. There must be a reason for it, it must convey a particular message, it should speak directly to the viewer, it has to add value and include a strong call to action.
Its content raises awareness of what you do, who you are and how you do it. It builds trust and credibility. It strengthens relationships. It demonstrates that you are experts in your field.
It really is the smart thing to do in 2021 to get on your potential customers’ radar.
With our extensive marketing experience and creativity, we can work with you to give your audience what they want in a way that resonates with them. We can get your brand into the forefront of their minds!
This is what we can include in your next webinar:
· Live narration
· Pre-recorded narration
· Animated slides
· Animated infographics
· Video clips
· Music and/or audio clips
· Live Q&A sessions
In 2019, before the global pandemic caused utter chaos, 87% of business claimed to be using webinars as part of their marketing to capitalise on the ‘video craze’. 81% of marketers stated that webinars helped them to acquire new leads for their clients, 79% of customers who took part in a webinar were influenced to take positive action and 66% of B2B buyers prefer to watch a webinar before making a purchase*. These stats are set to rise as webinars are the only marketing tool that can truly bring people together whilst working remotely.
