FX Standalone Campaign
Bibby Financial Services briefed GC to develop a marketing campaign to promote a new standalone foreign exchange service. Aimed at two separate audiences, introducers and direct users the messaging and creative approach was the same - to highlight that working with Bibby can open up a world of new business opportunities. For the campaign we created an overall proposition, creative concepts, design, artwork and copywriting for web pages,
e-marketing and printed collateral.
Virgin Money High Flyers
Every once in a while a brief comes along that is just that little bit different and allows us to really show off our creative and design skills. And this High Flyers internal campaign for Virgin Money Credit Cards is one such brief. We were briefed to increase staff engagement and raise awareness across the VM team of all the great initiatives undertaken to improve staff communication, personal development, diversity and inclusion etc.
We chose an airline theme for the communications and produced some stunning desk drops in the form of in flight meals and paper planes along with the more typical emails, posters and desk pads. The campaign has been a huge success since take off with staff engagement scores hitting stratospheric new heights as a result of the campaign.
Plastipak Environment Campaign
Plastipak is one of the world’s leading rigid plastic packaging manufacturers and their customers are some of the biggest FMCG brands on the planet. But, Plastipak take their environmental impact and responsibility for recycling and waste reduction extremely seriously.
The company recycles huge volumes of plastic packaging and re-uses much of the recycled material in new packaging. Along with actively doing something about plastic waste, Plastipak are also trying to educate people about how to recycle their plastic bottles via an awareness campaign.
We created an environmentally focused poster campaign for Plastipak that is light hearted in approach, but with a clear message that plastic bottles are easy to recycle and that we should all take responsibility to recycle.
TPT FD Perspective Report
We recently created a white paper report for TPT Retirement Solutions, one of the leading Master Trust Defined Benefit providers for UK workplace pensions. The report was designed to appeal to Financial Directors of large businesses that operate employee pension schemes.
And conceived to highlight how Defined Benefit pension schemes are set to place a huge burden on companies in the near future.
We brought the fairly dry subject matter to life with some engaging and thought provoking illustrations that amplified the key issues that FDs will face in the coming years. We also developed a social media campaign to promote awareness of the report and encourage download from the TPT website.
M&S Bank Double Points Campaign
GC were briefed to develop creative concepts and artwork for a Double Points campaign aimed at existing M&S Bank current account customers. The campaign was to be delivered via a series of emails and we were further challenged to bring some form of innovation into the construction of the emails themselves.
The M&S Bank Current Account is one of best current accounts in the banking market offering a range of benefits for customers to switch and stay. One of those benefits is to earn M&S Points every time you shop in M&S and use your debit or credit card. So, a double points offer was a great offer but we still needed to break through the inbox ennui with some stand out creative to make customers aware of it.
We developed a series of animated emails to get the message across and that really stood out from the general inbox clutter. The animations although simple, brought the innovation M&S Bank were looking for and really helped to bring the Double Points offer to life.
A lovely project for Cabot Corporation, a leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company. We helped their Digital Imaging division really stand out at their annual Global Leadership Conference in Chicago with some great graphics, giveaways and video content. Our task was to demonstrate how far printing technology had come over the years and how the world of colour and instant printing that we all take for granted now, was a little different back in 1984.
The whole project was conceived and pulled together in under two weeks and all materials were shipped over to the US prior to the event. The project was great fun to work on despite the tight turnaround as we all enjoyed going back to the 80’s if only for a brief moment.
In late 2019 Good Comms were appointed to by Studio Retail to handle the rebrand of their Financial Services department. The rebrand covered all aspects of the existing end-to-end customer journey and all customer touchpoints. We developed a new brand identity for the Financial Services department but one that was consistent and integrated seamlessly with the main brand. We created logos, web pages, web content and a range of marketing communications and collateral in order to roll out the rebrand.
